Pulau Ketam & Kampung Sungai Lima Selangor
Day trip to Pulau Ketam & Sungai Lima Selangor
It's easy to have one-day trip to Pulau Ketam and Sungai Lima; a tranquil villages with no road nor car. We had our breakfast at Choon Guan, a Hainanese restaurant since '56 (famous local restaurant) before heading to jetty. You can park your car beside the jetty at RM1/hr or take KTM to Port Klang(the station is just beside the jetty). Two-way ticket to Pulau Ketam is RM20 each. Ferry will depart every 45 mins(~25min journey).
From Pulau Ketam we took 3pm ferry with additional RM1 to go to Sungai Lima; a more peaceful and calmer village. Pls be aware that the last boat going back to Port Klang from Sungai Lima is 5pm. *Opt for Alibaba boats; they are new and we feel is safer with the same price.
Overall it was a fun and enjoyable if you want to experience something different with slower peace of life. Since it's a swamp land, the infrastructure is not comprehensive as other hard ground tourist oriented island. We did a casual walk around the island and was sad to see rubbish between the settlements. It is not easy to maintain a swamp land island but we hope that everyone can get more responsible for the good of our nature.
